We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer Backend to join our Koko Home engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our backend systems, working closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a small team of backend developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend systems.
- Collaborate with our product team to define and implement technical requirements for our backend systems.
- Design and implement robust and scalable backend architectures using Java, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Work closely with our infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration with our backend systems.
- Contribute to the development of our data infrastructure to support our IoT devices.
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in backend development, with at least 2 years in front-end development.
- Strong experience in building data-driven backends in Java and SQL.
- Experience with TypeScript for backend development is a plus.
- Experience with React/React Native and native mobile app development.
- Experience managing infrastructure in Terraform.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
