Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Stability Direct. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and compassionate breast imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Obtain patient medical history, prior imaging of breasts along with reports and verify patient identification and consent prior to performing procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images of breast tissue.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and address any concerns or discomfort.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed, including required records to maintain FDA certification.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain and perform QA on mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality control.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certified by the State of Wyoming to practice and administer radiation.
  • Proficiency in operating digital x-ray equipment.
  • Experience in a hospital setting or healthcare.
  • Current BLS certification, required.
