Mammography/X-ray Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography/X-ray Technologist to join our team at Hamilton Staffing Solutions LLC. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing mammography imaging procedures, obtaining patient medical history, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform mammography imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Obtain patient medical history, prior imaging of breasts along with reports and verify patient identification and consent prior to performing procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and operate mammography equipment to obtain high-quality images of breast tissue.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed, including required records to maintain FDA certification.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain and perform QA on mammography equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality control.

This position requires a strong understanding of mammography imaging procedures and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and certified by the State of Wyoming to practice and administer radiation.

Position Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, either college-affiliated or hospital-trained.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Certified by the State of Wyoming to practice and administer radiation.
  • Current BLS certification, required.
