Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house team at Creative Solutions in Healthcare - West.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments, providing skilled services, and collaborating with Physical Therapists to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing.
  • Providing skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Responding to requests for service and relaying information to Physical Therapists.
  • Implementing and modifying patient physical therapy plans with PT supervision.
  • Measuring and recording patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
  • Monitoring patient response to treatment and modifying treatment approach as clinically appropriate.
  • Providing clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
  • Ensuring thorough and timely documentation and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
  • SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices.
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
  • Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
