Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel

Job Summary:
Converdia Health Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a travel assignment. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in conducting patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions.


Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
