Job Title: Senior Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: Diaconia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting program requirements, recommending and developing executable programs, and advising technicians on methods of resolving unusual troubleshooting problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Program Requirements: Assist with ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems, including databases such as D043, CAV AF, JEDMICS, and ETIMS.
  • Recommend and Develop Programs: Assist with recommending and developing executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems.
  • Advise Technicians: Advise technicians on methods of resolving unusual troubleshooting problems, repairing difficult system malfunctions, and conducting research and analysis.
  • Technical Advisor: Serve as a technical advisor to senior leaders and maintenance technicians in maintenance, operation, and training for the assigned weapon system and associated equipment.
  • Logistics Support: Assist with all necessary support management actions required to establish and maintain the combat effectiveness of the assigned aircraft and equipment.
  • Studies and Analysis: Assist in accomplishing studies, review, and analysis of technical problems/malfunctions affecting assigned equipment generated from a variety of sources.
  • Corrective Actions: Recommend appropriate corrective actions and assist in determining the method of implementation, i.e., TCTO or technical order change.
  • Program IPTs: Support all aspects and levels of program IPTs to include but not limited to, engineering, program management, other equipment specialists, lead and chief engineers, and civilian and military leadership within the division.
  • Data Management: Conduct research and analysis using systems such as D043, CAV AF, JEDMICS, and other databases to identify and resolve problem areas.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform logistics studies, resource requirements analyses, and recommend corrective actions based on findings.

Requirements:

  • Secret or Top-Secret DoD Clearance: Must have a Secret or Top-Secret DoD clearance and be a US citizen.
  • Education and Experience: One of the following combinations of education/experience: Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience, BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience, or High school diploma and 20 years of directly related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CF6 Engine Experience: Experience with CF6 engines is preferred.
