Clinical Laboratory Scientist I

At Johns Hopkins HealthCare, we are committed to providing the highest quality care for our patients and our communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Laboratory Scientist I to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling assigned specimen pre-analytical and analytical tasks, performing selected routine laboratory tests, and recording and reporting results following standard operating procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handles assigned specimen pre-analytical and analytical tasks
- Performs selected routine laboratory tests
- Records and reports results following standard operating procedures, policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Sets up and maintains equipment
- Monitors quality control standards
Requirements:
- Associates degree as MLT (Medical Lab Technologist) or BS degree in a related field with some lab experience/education internship or lab courses/qualifying towards lab certification
- Completed MLT clinical rotations or MLT internship or previous experience in a clinical or research laboratory
- BS degree with related courses where good lab practices were taught may also be considered
We offer a competitive salary range of $24.17-$51.91 per hour, commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. We prioritize the health and well-being of every employee and offer a comprehensive benefits package.
