About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Transportation Engineer to join our team at Fuss & O'Neill. As a technical lead and assistant project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the conceptual, preliminary, and final design of various infrastructure and community development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of transportation projects, including roadways and traffic systems.
  • Mentor and train less experienced engineers to ensure the success of the team.
  • Contribute to the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
  • Organize and participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Independently plan, analyze, and evaluate design aspects of various transportation projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Engineering.
  • Typically requires 5-10 years of experience in transportation engineering.
  • P.E. registration is required.
  • Proficiency with Civil3D and AutoCAD; experience with Microstation a plus.
  • Previous construction experience a plus.
  • Previous consulting, state agency, or public works/municipality experience preferred.
