Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer all types of anesthesia, including general, regional, local, and intravenous sedation.
  • Monitor and support vital life functions during anesthesia.
  • Act as the patient's advocate while under anesthesia.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Maine.
  • Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • Current certification and recertification from AANA Council on Certification and recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of anesthesia equipment.
  • Advanced pharmacology knowledge.
