We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Bridgton Hospital Medical Surgery team.

This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position on the day shift.

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician.

Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.

Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required.

  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living, provide for personal care and comfort.

Provide Indirect Patient Care: Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

Work as a Team Member: Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

Confidentiality: Ensures patient information is kept private by following HIPPA privacy standards.
