Community Engagement Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Activities Director to join our team at Lexington Park Independent Living Operations, LLC. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a passion for creating engaging experiences for our residents.
About the Role:
As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a variety of activities that cater to the interests and needs of our residents. This may include organizing events, games, arts and crafts, and other social activities that promote interaction and community building among our residents. You will also be responsible for recruiting and coordinating volunteers, as well as collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement a comprehensive activity program that meets the needs and interests of our residents
* Recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with events and activities
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful event execution
* Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity schedules
* Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and community groups to identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. recreation, gerontology) preferred
* 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Estimated salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
