As a Senior Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a vital role in achieving this goal by designing and implementing engaging activities that promote social interaction, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote self-esteem and social interaction among residents through various activities, including arts and crafts, games, and outings.
  • Analyze resident participation during activities and record observations to inform future programming.
  • Order necessary supplies and track inventory to ensure seamless execution of activities.
  • Provide personalized attention to residents who require bedside activities due to mobility issues.
  • Identify and provide adaptive devices for residents with sensory deficits, such as large-print materials or assistive listening devices.
  • Update activity calendars and prepare monthly schedules to keep residents informed.
  • Operate the community van/bus as needed to transport residents to activities.
  • Maintain open communication with Activity Directors and Administrators regarding resident concerns or complaints.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of experience conducting activities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or related service industries is beneficial.
