Position Overview:

As an Irrigation Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and operation of irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and sustainability. Your role will involve:

  • Inventory Management: Conducting regular assessments of tools, equipment, and materials to guarantee adequate supplies and operational readiness.
  • Water Usage Monitoring: Recording and analyzing water usage from pumps and wells to promote efficient resource management.
  • Project Execution: Participating in special projects aimed at enhancing the golf course, including bunker and tee renovations, as well as drainage installations.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Upholding the aesthetic quality of fountains, planters, and other landscape features through cleaning, repairs, and replacements.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilizing tractors, trucks, and utility vehicles for the transportation of equipment, supplies, and debris.

Safety and Compliance:
Adhering to all company policies regarding safety and security, reporting any defective equipment or unsafe conditions to management, and completing necessary safety training and certifications.

Professionalism:
Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and communicating effectively with colleagues to foster a collaborative work environment.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to:
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform tasks that involve bending, twisting, and reaching.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Less than one year of related work experience.
  • Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.
