">Test Engineer, Senior Role at WR Systems

A highly skilled Test Engineer, Senior is sought after by WR Systems to spearhead the planning, design, and evaluation of products. The primary objective is to ensure that the final product is thoroughly tested and easily identifiable.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration skills, working closely with engineers, software developers, and program teams to create detailed test plans that align with mission objectives and requirements.

Beyond the scope of their individual responsibilities, the selected candidate will be part of a cohesive team environment where they will work effectively with cross-functional teams to guarantee a smooth and efficient testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews to guarantee tests meet specifications and identify any gaps;
• Develop comprehensive test strategies for complex software or hardware systems;
• Generate test data to validate functional and technical requirements;
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during the testing process;
• Lead/participate in project reviews and provide documentation;
• Oversee and direct junior test engineers;

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science;
• 10+ years of professional experience in test analysis, systems engineering, or similar roles;
• 3-5 years of specific engineering experience related to the chosen discipline;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Navy Navigation systems or related navigation software;
• Knowledge of advanced Mission Based Test Design (MBTES) and modern test automation tools;
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and ability to adapt testing strategies;
• Capability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts;

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 annually depending on qualifications and location
