Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Wellness Director to oversee the overall health and well-being of our residents. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and management of health programs
- Assist in training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members
- Partner with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training (in states where allowed)
A Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of 2 years department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals is also necessary. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and multi-department experience are strongly recommended.
Skills and Qualifications- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Demonstrated ability to schedule, orientate and train staff
- Proficient in using MS Office
- Ability to implement Personalized Service Plans
- Knowledge of advanced directives and end-of-life care
- Familiarity with assisted living philosophy and nursing function in assisted living, quality of care and quality of life objectives
We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
