In this position, you will be responsible for administering, analyzing, and optimizing the financial resources allocated to various marketing programs across different campaigns and partner marketing teams. You will collaborate closely with essential cross-functional marketing teams to facilitate budget tracking and procurement processes related to marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support and guidance to the corporate demand generation team regarding budget planning and monitoring.
  • Work in partnership with marketing program managers to assess their quarterly budget proposals, consolidate these plans, and integrate them into the budget tracking system.
  • Monthly, collaborate with marketing managers to monitor budget expenditures against allocations, ensuring adherence to spending limits.
  • Coordinate with the digital marketing manager to implement and track expenditures on digital marketing efforts across regional teams, including reviewing statements of work and collaborating with regional digital marketers.
  • Deliver comprehensive analysis of operational performance, comparing budgeted figures to actuals, and forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for budget optimization in collaboration with marketing managers.
  • Engage with operational and organizational teams on procurement and accounts payable processes to support budgeting and monthly forecasting activities.
  • Request purchase orders through the procurement system for marketing services or products required by marketing managers.
  • Ensure the timely closure of purchase orders once services or products have been successfully procured.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams from marketing finance to ensure alignment of the marketing budget and expenditures.
  • Manage daily communications with all regions regarding the status of activities to ensure compliance with organizational finance timelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in business-to-business program marketing, ideally in marketing budget administration within technology firms.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with budget management tools like Allocadia and procurement management modules in ERP software is advantageous.
