Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a skilled Medical Coder to join our team. As a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in transcribing and translating details from patient medical records into medical codes such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate patient information into accurate and relevant medical codes
  • Review medical records to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
  • Adhere to Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of recent ICD-10 coding experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Medical Coding
  • Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding (HCPCS) codes
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA guidelines
