Position Overview
Element Fleet Management is in search of a Shared Services Auditor. As the leading independent fleet manager globally, we offer unparalleled products, services, and solutions to our clients.

The Shared Services Auditor will be responsible for ensuring precise billing to provide a consistent and exceptional client billing experience while safeguarding Element's financial integrity.
This role involves supporting the Director of Billing Client Services by auditing and ensuring that business processes are consistently executed and compliant with internal audit and SOC controls, while also reporting key findings to relevant stakeholders.
The auditor will implement and execute audit routines to monitor the performance of critical contractual and billing elements across Shared Services and all departments contributing to the billing process. They will identify process and business risks, as well as monitor and test robust processes that are well-documented and strongly controlled.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish audit criteria and checklists for all contractual billing inputs, including internal Shared Services, other internal departments, and external vendor files.
2. Conduct regular audits on specific client tiers and all new client implementations, validating pre and post-bill charges.
3. Perform first-run yield analysis and other quality measures.
4. Conduct root-cause analyses to identify sources of billing discrepancies, taking necessary actions to rectify specific situations and eliminate root causes for both individual clients and the broader Element portfolio.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
Work closely with key stakeholders such as Rates, Billing Generation, Contract, Legal, New Business Implementation, Commercial & FPS, and other Operations and Shared Services teams to assist in developing and executing implementation plans for essential processes or initiatives.
Conduct quality assurance and sign-off on all new or modified procedures impacting billing. Ensure that all documented procedures, SOPs, and compliance practices are regularly updated and validated quarterly.
Participate in and support external auditors during compliance audits, agreed-upon procedures, and internal control audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of progressive professional experience, including experience in a multinational organization managing complex process requirements simultaneously.
- Experience in Compliance, Quality Assurance, Risk Advisory, or Audit roles.
- Familiarity with assessing process risks.
- Proficiency in SAP, PowerBI, Alteryx, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and user-level application knowledge, along with data entry and typing skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent project management and analytical skills; proactive and self-motivated, capable of thriving under pressure.
