Job Title: Home Care Director

At Family First, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Care Director to lead our team of caregivers and support services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing our home care and support services to ensure the highest quality of care for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily home care and intake operations and workflow.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on home and support services operations projects and systems.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and enhancements.
  • Drive revenue growth utilizing established key metrics while supporting and maintaining accountability.
  • Develop, implement, and drive new programs to meet client needs and company financial goals.
  • Ensure service levels and productivity standards are maintained.
  • Establish and administer the department's budget.
  • Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief executive officer and other leadership.
  • Oversee and ensure all home care compliance is maintained and adhered to company, state, and federal standards.
  • Plan and participate in strategic planning via leadership meetings.
  • Conduct and facilitate regular team meetings; communicate and implement best practices.
  • Work with Business Development team to develop and implement marketing strategies promoting all company retail and service care options.
  • Develop, implement, and manage new programs to meet client needs and company financial goals.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and growth of staff/client relationships.
  • Management of care-related billing activities ensuring accuracy and timeliness of billing and reporting processes.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of home and support service operational procedures, seeking opportunities for process improvement, including development and implementation of training materials and initiatives in coordination with the company President.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train management-level staff in the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Establish and maintain a managerial climate that promotes teamwork and cross-functional collaboration across all departments.
  • Promote team building and ensures professional conduct at all times.
  • Promote departmental staff career growth and skills development.
  • Ensure any client issues/concerns are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all home care and intake operational SOPs are current.
  • Ensure required policies and procedures are adhered to and required reports are complete and accurate.
  • Work closely with Human Resources Department to ensure all client-facing employee required licensure requirements remain current.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate Family First corporate missions, vision, and values.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and experience.
  • Significant experience in healthcare administration, healthcare management, or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in Home Care and/or geriatric care.
  • Strong knowledge of in-home and/or resident care.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial business environment.
  • Experience in project planning.
