Senior EMC/EMI Test Engineer

Retlif Testing Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Senior EMC/EMI Test Engineer to join our team in Harleysville, PA. As a critical member of our team, you will have technical oversight of all testing operations in the facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Interface with customers and internal staff to develop test requirements and associated quotations.
- Daily oversight and mentoring of technical staff members.
- Interface with administrative staff for customer scheduling and report preparation.
- Provide on the job training for laboratory staff members.
- Assist in the development of company-wide technical training programs.
- Provide technical oversight and approval of in-house testing activities.
- Work with customers and other staff members to produce program specific EMC test procedures and plans.
- Work with external TCBs and internal staff members to support customer product certification.
- Assist in the development of new testing services.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an ABET Accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the EMC field.
- Knowledge of some or all of the following standards and test requirements: MIL-STD-461, RTCA/DO-160, FCC Part 15, Subparts B and C, ISED ICES and RSS Standards, EU EMC and Radio Equipment Directives, UKCA Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations.
- iNarte Certification desired.
- Excellent knowledge of EMC Test Equipment including Spectrum Analyzers, EMI Receivers, Signal Generators, RF Amplifiers, Measurement Antennas, Oscilloscopes.
- Experience with TILE Software desired.
- The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and oversee a staff of EMC Technicians and Engineers.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, lift, and twist.
- Background that would permit the U.S. Dept. of Defense (DOD) to issue a Secret Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
