Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team at Lancaster General Health. As a Radiation Oncology Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing radiation therapy for cancer and other diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient assessments, focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive functions
  • Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes and adapt the plan of care based on recognized trends and changes
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues and formulate age-appropriate and culturally and ethically sensitive plans of care
  • Implement care in a knowledgeable manner and coordinate patient care across several disciplines and among caregivers
Requirements
  • RN licensure issued by the PA Board of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher level nursing degree
  • Completion of the Nurse Residency Program or more than 15 months of practice
  • CPR Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
  • ACLS Certification
  • A health care provider in good standing with Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal and state health insurance programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology certification within 2 years of hire date
  • Oncology or Radiation Oncology experience
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings account with company matching.
