Shift Details:
Weekends Only
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating proficiency in general diagnostic radiography and the operation of digital imaging equipment.
- Utilizing the PACS system effectively for image management.
- Preparing patients for procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Assisting radiologists during examinations and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area, including exam rooms and mobile equipment.
Commitment to the Methodist Healthcare System's goals and adherence to safety policies is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ethical behavior and uphold the MHS Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program.
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
