Job Title: Distribution Coordinator 3rd Shift

About the Role:

Mccormick & Company, a global leader in the spice, flavor, and seasonings industry, is seeking a full-time Distribution Coordinator 3rd Shift to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating warehouse/order selection activities, including order delegation, LMS reporting, and timekeeping activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Crew Leader to execute daily plans, update and report daily metrics, and complete department indicators (scorecard).

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate warehouse/order selection activities, including order delegation, LMS reporting, and timekeeping activities.
  • Work with the Crew Leader to execute daily plans, update and report daily metrics, and complete department indicators (scorecard).
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports (labor hours, downtime reporting), process order review, procedural updates, and special projects as required.
  • Provide support for process improvement, safety, sanitation, and training initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between departments and act as a backup to the Crew Leader and Distribution Technicians.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' warehouse/order selection experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to use calculator, on-line systems including PC databases, Outlook, Excel, and word processing required.
  • Must have fork lift license & experience operating all types of material handling equipment, including reach, stand up, sit down, walking transporter, and riding transporter.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • High level of numerical computation skills and analytical skills required.
  • Must have excellent clerical and math skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to concentrate in high-traffic areas and ability to maintain confidential information required.
  • Overtime on short notice required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP Warehouse Management System preferred.
  • Industrial order selection experience desired.
  • Shipping/Shipping Office experience desired.
  • Overtime on short notice required.
