Overview
Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit. As a Telemedicine RN, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients with acute changes in their condition. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and make informed decisions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including chest pain, stroke, and respiratory issues.
- Monitor and analyze ECGs, note arrhythmias, and intervene in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN.
- Must have 1-year of nursing experience.
- Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state required.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire date.
