Job Summary:

As a Registered Dietitian at Adventist Health, you will provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents with special needs or those at nutritional risk. Your expertise will include patient assessment and reassessment, patient and family education, interdisciplinary communication, and development of nutritional plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive initial nutritional assessments and ongoing reassessments of patients' nutritional conditions and stability.
  • Develop and implement effective nutritional plans of care, including meal patterns, monitoring of nutritional intake, and initiation of appropriate interventions.
  • Provide nutritional education to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document all interventions and patient responses in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent.
  • Dietetic internship or its equivalent.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completion of residency program.
