At Adventist Health, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Nutrition Specialist to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents with special needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent, and a Registered Dietitian (RD) certification. A Master's Degree is required for eligibility for examination beginning on or after January 1, 2024. Experience as a Clinical Dietitian is preferred, and a dietetic internship or its equivalent is required.

Responsibilities will include assessing patients to determine those at nutritional risk, providing quality nutritional care through nutrition plans, and facilitating appropriate meal patterns. You will also be responsible for monitoring nutritional intake, initiating appropriate interventions, and providing nutritional education.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will serve as an educational resource for the healthcare team, including dietetic interns, patients, family members, and community. You will orient and instruct new personnel on job duties, assignments, and clinical activities.
