Globe Life is seeking a highly skilled Claims Examiner I to join our team. As a Claims Examiner I, you will be responsible for processing supplemental accident, health, and life claims with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process claims promptly and accurately within established deadlines.
  • Review medical records, provider bills, and other documentation to apply policy benefits and limitations.
  • Engage in phone correspondence with medical facilities, providers, policyholders, and agents to gather information and resolve claims.
  • Provide backup phone support for the department's Call Center Unit as needed.
  • Assist with various department functions, projects, and assignments as directed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years prior phone/customer service and office experience.
  • Previous experience in a Claims service environment preferred.
  • Medical terminology/medical office background desirable.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Strong organizational and research skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
