We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team at Water Grill San Diego. As a Front Desk Crewmember, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a critical role in setting the tone for their dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, responding promptly to their needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, including seating guests, taking reservations, and handling guest inquiries.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, management, and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve excellent service standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages with food.
- Education: High school education or equivalent.
- Food Handler's Card: Current CA Food Handler's Card is required.
- Language: Ability to communicate in a satisfactory manner, both verbally and in writing, in English.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
- Knowledge: Maintain complete knowledge of front desk standards and procedures.
- Previous Experience: Any previous experience in guest relations or providing guest service is an asset.
- Competitive Pay: Paid $17.85 per hour, plus tipshare.
