Job Description
As a Registered Nurse with Interim HealthCare Duluth, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Caring for patients with various illnesses, injuries, and diseases in clinics, medical offices, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and schools
- Collaborating with physicians and overseeing LPNs, CNAs, and aides to provide patient care
- Conducting assessments, documenting patient conditions, and reporting changes to physicians
- Reviewing, interpreting, transcribing, and carrying out physician orders for patients
- Administering medication, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe environment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Minnesota
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical facility
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion
