Amazon is seeking an experienced operations-oriented leader to join our Workforce Staffing (WFS) team. As a Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing our candidates with an exceptional experience, mirroring the amazing experience our customers have come to expect from Amazon.

Main Responsibilities
  • Candidate Experience and Supply: Focus on delivering a seamless candidate experience, ensuring our hiring processes are efficient and effective.
  • Supply to Labor Demand: Analyze labor supply and demand across a large geography, composed of multiple WFS hiring teams (Nodes), which support Amazon operational sites.
  • Multi-Channel Generation of Applicants: Engage with the local community, labor market dynamics, process improvement, and labor strategy development to drive candidate generation.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Management of the talent supply chain utilizing lean methodology
  • Management of candidate cycle time, conversion rates, and applicant funnel metrics to benchmark or above
  • Alignment with finance and operations partners to optimize labor acquisition strategy
  • Demonstrated return on investment from community engagement strategies
  • Meet or exceed associate experience service levels and KPIs measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction
  • Deliver monthly business reviews
  • Growth of teams' core and advanced skills sets measured by progression in their career path
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources, or other related fields
  • Experience managing and prioritizing business types and locations, projects, and relationships
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, such as operations, administrative support, customer service, retail, hospitality, staffing, recruiting, human resources, or other related fields
  • 3+ years of experience managing hourly and salary employees
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems or other tracking and reporting systems like Salesforce
  • Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and communicating data findings, experience establishing and tracking key performance metrics, including return on investment
  • Cross-functional project management experience
  • Basic/Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
