The Administrative Care Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing administrative support to the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functions as a receptionist for the unit, greeting patients and visitors, and directing them to the appropriate areas.
  • Assists the patient care team with patient-centered secretarial tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Provides basic patient care, such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Collaborates with the nursing staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Technology Course or other vocational training preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
