Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide athletic training services for practices and home athletic contests, as well as away varsity football games, to ensure the optimal performance and safety of our student-athletes.
  • Act as a liaison between department administration, team physicians, student-athletes, coaches, athletic directors, fellow athletic trainers, and parents to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and submit periodic reports to department administration as scheduled, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Attend regular meetings and participate in in-service and continuing education programs offered through SGHS BOC-approved providers to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
  • Secure, stock, and maintain a clean and organized Athletic Training Room, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies to ensure timely replenishment and minimize waste.
