Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, Endocrinology

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN, to join our Endocrinology team at Grand View Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with our healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the delivery of quality, efficient, and cost-effective healthcare services.
  • Collaborate with patients and their providers to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Utilize computer systems to gather information, review patient data, and schedule appointments.
  • Review medications and prescription requests, including notification of need for appointment.
  • Coordinate laboratory and diagnostic testing, including EKGs, PFTs, audio tests, and vision tests.
  • Communicate test results to patients under the direction of the provider and answer patient questions.
  • Administer injections and perform venipuncture as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Vocational diploma in Licensed Practical Nurse Training.
  • Over 6 months to 1 year of acute care setting experience required.
