The individual in this role will assess damaged properties and generate estimates for their restoration. They will collaborate with insurance adjusters and property owners to reach consensus on the scope and costs associated with repairs. Upon approval of the estimate and receipt of the property owner's authorization to proceed, the estimator will transition the project to the construction manager, ensuring that the work is executed to standard and that payments are collected.

This position demands excellent time management skills, strong interpersonal abilities, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in computer applications, and a robust work ethic. The candidate must work collaboratively to deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to budgetary constraints. A minimum of five years in the construction field is advantageous. Experience in new home construction and/or renovations is preferred. Familiarity with the Xactimate estimating software is also beneficial.

Paul Davis Restoration of Central Florida is part of a thriving national network of franchises, collectively generating annual sales exceeding $700 million. We partner with insurance providers to assist individuals whose homes or businesses have suffered damage from fire, water, storms, and mold.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in the industry
  • Proficiency with estimating software
  • Relevant industry certifications (IICRC and Lead)
  • Experience in drafting estimates using Xactimate
  • Familiarity with Symbility

Travel Expectations:

  • This role will necessitate local travel to job sites, training sessions, and company events as required.

Compensation: The income range, including performance bonuses, is between $55,000 and $85,000.
