Job Overview
The Sanitation and Floor Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and floor care of designated areas.

Shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM, Monday to Friday

Compensation:
$16 - $17 per hour

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training is available
- No educational requirements such as a high school diploma, GED, or college degree

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service
- One year of relevant work experience

General Cleaning Responsibilities:

- Maintain and clean buildings and facilities
- Adhere to procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures
- Inform management about the need for minor or major repairs or enhancements to building systems
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, and management
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
- Move furniture and equipment to facilitate cleaning
- Clean glass surfaces, including windows and mirrors, using appropriate cleaning solutions
- Gather and dispose of trash
- Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping, raking leaves, and snow removal
- Clean and supply restrooms

Floor Care Duties:

- Clean building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids according to specifications
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including spot cleaning treatments
- This position is suitable for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited experience and education.
