About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Language Development Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, Louisiana. As a Language Development Specialist, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support students' academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.
  • State license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

This is a 13-week contract position.
