The Christus Health organization is currently seeking a highly skilled Advanced Perioperative Nurse Specialist to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $93,000 annually and benefits.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Perioperative Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality individualized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical interventions. You will utilize your expertise in current clinical knowledge and established nursing practices to perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop personalized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. Effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals is crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care in the perioperative setting, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in nursing practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a perioperative setting, is required.
