Job Summary

The Multicraft Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets in the production facility. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using precision measuring and testing instruments as needed
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training
  • 5-7 years of experience in mechanical or electrical maintenance, with a focus on production equipment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment

This position requires working in a noisy, wet, and extreme temperature environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
