Job Overview

The Multicraft Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or equivalent experience and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related problems
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Train and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenance procedures

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and hydraulic systems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
