Job Title: Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Planet Healthcare. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Specialist will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, performing a variety of tests and procedures to analyze patient samples. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples
  • Collect and process patient samples for testing
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information
  • Communicate test results and patient information to healthcare professionals
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
  • Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Specialist (MLS)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
