Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at New York Cancer & Blood Specialists. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely laboratory results to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of laboratory tests, including chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, hematology, and molecular diagnostics.
  • Ensure the operation of laboratory equipment, including calibration, quality control, and maintenance.
  • Prepare reagents and solutions for laboratory tests, and maintain laboratory supplies inventory.
  • Provide medical technology information and directions to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Medical Technology, chemistry, or biology.
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Medical Technologist in the State of New York.
