About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct construction projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
  • Review project details to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient work.
  • Select tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory to ensure efficient procurement processes.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to review work progress.
  • Prepare internal and external reports on job status and present to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, and implement quality control programs.
  • Lead and manage the project team to foster a positive work environment and optimize team performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction project management.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage projects with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction cost control and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contract negotiations and procurement processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software packages.
