Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing dialysis treatments
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
