Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Services team as a Charge Nurse. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, including delegating tasks, providing feedback, and coaching
  • Ensure the unit is running efficiently, including managing patient flow, staffing, and resources
  • Collaborate with other departments, including ED, Surgery, and Trauma, to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of changes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a current Minnesota license
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience, with 3 years preferred
  • ECG recognition/interpretation, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
