We are seeking a highly skilled Senior - Principal Engineer to join our Water Business Sector team. As a technical leader, you will contribute to the development of our water system planning and hydraulic modeling capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a technical leader in water distribution system hydraulic evaluations using commercial software programs.
- Work on projects throughout California and Oregon, with a focus on Southern California-based projects and clients.
- Analyze water use, population, water quality, and facilities condition data.
- Evaluate water supply availability and develop water supply and water system capital improvement programs.
- Prepare technical reports and master plans.
- Serve as a project manager directing hydraulic modeling and master planning work.
- Provide QA/QC review on the work of others in the water planning team.
- Interact directly with clients and provide excellent client service.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience with Water System Planning and Hydraulic Modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with CAD, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
- PE licensure in the State of California.
- Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to process accurate engineering calculations unaided and prepare reports.
- Proven ability to summarize technical information for concise reader-friendliness and clarity.
