Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Assembly/Warehouse Associate to join our team in Otay Mesa, CA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for assembling small electronic products, mounting components, and ensuring quality control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble small electronic products by hand using screwdrivers and following written instructions. Inspect products for defects and damages.
  • Mounting and Testing: Mount electronic products to display boards following schematic. Connect and test the electronic product works properly.
  • Packaging and Shipping: Assist in packaging of display boards once finished and tested. Close boxes neatly, place labels on exterior of the box, and write down codes for tracking.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist with receiving, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately based on project. Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience with small hand tools, color coding for assembly, and manual pallet jacks.
  • Skills: Good hand and eye coordination, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and comfortable lifting boxes.
  • Work Environment: Ability to be on their feet for a majority of the shift and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
