Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and assembling complex mechanisms, structures, and assemblies per latest specified drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and assemble complex mechanisms, structures, and assemblies per latest specified drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain and repair production equipment and tools.
  • Promptly notify the manager of any needed repairs or issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed blue print drawings.
  • Bond, screw, glue or otherwise attach parts together.
  • Drill, countersink, and rivet metal or sheet metal parts as required.
  • Install attachment fittings, as assigned.
  • Prepare and organize tools and parts for use in the manufacturing area.
  • Requisition parts as needed from the stockroom.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue print drawings.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
