We are looking for a proficient Industrial Maintenance Technician to become a part of our esteemed Timken - Aurora Bearing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the operational efficiency of our production machinery and facilities. The successful candidate will possess exceptional skills in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, experience in developing preventive maintenance strategies, and a solid understanding of CNC machine diagnostics. Familiarity with HVAC systems and a background in a manufacturing setting will be considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, overhaul, install, relocate, modify, and fabricate machinery and system fixtures.
- Adhere to verbal and written directives, including service manuals, maintenance documentation, and technical schematics.
- Execute basic carpentry, fabrication, welding, plumbing, piping, wiring, and mechanical tasks.
- Collaborate with supervisors and operators from various departments to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ensure compliance with facility maintenance standards and coordinate with external service providers as necessary.
- High School Diploma or GED (verification required).
- Minimum of one year of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment; three years preferred.
- Familiarity with 480 voltage systems is a plus.
- CNC troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Forklift and scissor lift experience is beneficial, training will be provided.
- General knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
