Dental Front Office Coordinator

As a key member of the MACT Health Board Inc team, the Dental Front Office Coordinator will provide exceptional support to the dental department. This role requires a high level of organization, communication, and technical skills to ensure seamless patient care and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and cancellations
- Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with patients and healthcare providers
- Process patient information, insurance claims, and billing
- Assist with referrals, lab cases, and other administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate patient financial obligations
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dental Director or Dentist Site Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental receptionist
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Knowledge of dental procedures, nomenclature, and billing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Next Gen and QSI computer software
- Experience with HIPAA guidelines and compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
