Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a General Foundry Production Associate. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for new hires to train and develop the necessary skills to advance to a department-specific job classification.
Key Responsibilities- Complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety policies and guidelines
- Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) effectively
- Participate in Waupaca Foundry's 6-S Program (housekeeping) to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Successfully complete training in Waupaca Foundry's ISO 14001 Environmental Certification
- Maintain a work pace consistent with the company's goal of on-time delivery
- Lift up to 50 lbs. and operate hand tools, machines, and other equipment
- Visually inspect products for defects
- Solid work history and good oral communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow instructions, with problem-solving skills
- Dependable, responsible, and positive work attitude
- Punctual and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and work without supervision
