Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a General Foundry Production Associate. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for new hires to train and develop the necessary skills to advance to a department-specific job classification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete safety training and adhere to departmental safety policies and guidelines
  • Utilize process control documents and Departmental Work Instructions (DWIs) effectively
  • Participate in Waupaca Foundry's 6-S Program (housekeeping) to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Successfully complete training in Waupaca Foundry's ISO 14001 Environmental Certification
  • Maintain a work pace consistent with the company's goal of on-time delivery
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. and operate hand tools, machines, and other equipment
  • Visually inspect products for defects
Requirements
  • Solid work history and good oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions, with problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, responsible, and positive work attitude
  • Punctual and able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and work without supervision
